Most of my brides in the last five years have worn strapless gowns. They are classic, elegantly and allow for ease of movement. However that movement sometimes goes south, as the bride spends most of her evening pulling up her gown.

Top wedding consultants are telling me their clients are hiring fashion photographers to shoot their weddings. As a stylist I have been bitten by the fashion bug and enjoy doing wedding shoots of the unconventional norm.

 

Asymmetrical lines, lovely deep pleats and puckers; TEXTURE is showing up on many current gown designs. Beautiful fabrics, ruffles, soft bustles, sheer lace, and elegant beading abound.

Colored nail polish, color on the eyes and unique wedding jewelry are also fun additions to the bride's statement.
